Since the semester is finally over, I can finally talk about the Paramore Spring Tour 2013. Initially, I wasn’t a big fan of the setlist and I was worried the crowds would be mediocre. After going 5 times, I can say that the setlist was perfect and the crowds were amazing. All of the shows were so worth it and I’m glad I went to each and every one of them. My only complaint is that I wished my hometown show (Camden) didn’t have a seated pit. It would’ve been a better show with a GA Pit. However, they still killed it and it was nice to absorb the whole show with my own space.
This tour restored my faith in why I go to so many concerts. It also proved how dependent I am of Paramore (pathetic, I know, but it’s true). This is the band that started it for me and I am thankful for that. If I had to list my favorite of the five shows, it would be:
- New York City
- Toronto
- Boston
- Camden
- Columbia
Overall it was a great tour and I can’t wait for Fall Tour (I’m assuming there is one). If not, I’ll see you in New Orleans!
(I lost my ticket stub in Toronto, if anyone has an extra Toronto ticket stub for the Sound Academy, I’m willing to give you $10 for it. I’m desperate, please!)
